Material: Solid Oak.
Finish: Painted inlay with exterior oil finish.
Size: 550mm L x 220-250mm H x 25mm thick, text typically 50m high (actual sizes will depend on contents and will be clarified at the preview stage).
 
Please refer to the pictures above to see the range of options available with these signs (4 fastening holes are recommended).  If required please utilise the 'Comments' fields to clarify any ambiguities on your preferred layout (e.g. arrow to point left, or icon on right etc). 
 
Upon receipt of your order we will send through a preview of your sign for approval (optional), at this stage design tweaks can be made free of charge.  Please respond to this approval as soon as possible to ensure prompt sign manufacture and delivery.

General Comments about Our Timber Products
 
Our Timber
All our timber signs are manufactured from sustainable sources, classified as super prime they are the highest grade available containing the character of oak with very flaws.  Our timber is kiln dried and routinely checked for moisture content to ensure minimal risk of splitting and/or warping.  Please be aware oak posts may contain some splits (inherent with oak [rustic]) but this will not affect the overall strength/integrity
 
Sign Finish
Our sign are finished using 4 coats of Osmo UV-Protection Oil Extra, applied over consecutive days to ensure good adhesion and lasting protection.  Based on natural oils it produces a satin-matt finish that enhances the natural tone and character of the wood, it does not crack, flake, peel or blister. It is water and dirt resistant, moisture regulating and reduces wood swelling and shrinkage.

Beautifully crafted product

I purchased this large house name plate to match the gate sign purchased a couple of weeks earlier. Both were made in oak with black inlay. These are high quality signs made with great care at a very reasonable price. As they are made to order they were manufactured and dispatched in good timescale considering four coats of oil protection were applied over consecutive days. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
