Description of Articles Supplied
All plaques and signs are custom designed to individual customer requirements (information gained at the shopping cart stage). Where applicable we provide a graphical preview of the sign layout including a text description of approximate sign size/font sizes etc (notified via email). No signs will be carved until the sign layout has been approved by the customer, for this reason we urge prompt review of the layout to ensure delivery time is kept to a minimum.
Colours shown on the web site (Ref ‘Sign Options’ page) are indicative of colours offered. In some instances graphics may be tweaked at the time of carving to ensure sufficient definition on finished sign (e.g. lines thickened; any significant change will be discussed with the customer first).
All quoted sign sizes are subject to tolerances as presented on the product description.
Our prices are calculated in GBP according to the cost of the base sign plus any additional options chosen by the customer (as applicable). Postage and packaging cost are shown at the checkout stage and relate to the associated weight of the delivery (UK mainland delivery only). If you live outside the UK please contact us via email for a quotation on delivery costs. All prices are subject to change and the current prices shown on this web site will overrule any prices advertised anywhere else which are deemed to be out of date.
Lead Times & Delivery
Signs shown on our site are individually made to order at our sign workshop in Bristol. We aim to despatch finished signs within 14-21 working days of approval of the graphical preview we send by email (if you have not received your sign within 21 days please contact us). In some instances for larger orders we may not be able to honour a 21 day lead time, where applicable effected customers will be contacted directly to discuss.
Note: We endeavour to provide sign previews / mock-ups within 24 hours of recieving your order (this will be forwarded to you via email). Please provide a prompt approval (or request a revision) to ensure your order is not delayed.
Where indicated your finished sign may be sent by recorded or special delivery and will require a signature. An email will be sent after despatch to let you know the parcel is shipped.
Refunds and Returns
If your order arrives damaged in transit, we will replace it free of charge or offer you a partial or full refund. Please contact us within seven working days of receipt of your order with details of the damage and keep ALL the original packaging (photos of the damage would be appreciated). Returns are made at your expense, although we may waive this responsibility in certain circumstances.
Any house sign supplied that does not meet the agreed specification will either be repaired or replaced free of charge or be subject to a full or partial refund of the purchase price. Please inform us by e-mail within 7 days of receipt stating clearly the reasons for rejection (alternatively the complaint may be sent by mail to the address shown on the ‘Contact Us’ page). Complaints will be acknowledged within two working days.
All our house signs carry a 30 day no quibble money back guarantee. In addition to this we guarantee the signs structure for 1 year against cracking and warping. Deterioration of the sign due to climate conditions should be minimised by annual staining / maintenance in accordance with pamphlet supplied with delivered signs).
